Coconut Mushroom  (póżniej Mushroom)  -  grupa z Portsmouth  (Hampshire, UK), założona w drugiej połowie 1967r. przez muzyków wywodzących się z różnych lokalnych zespołów  (Tangerine Slyde, The Inspiration, The Klimaks, The Academy, Morgan's Camel Train, The Jays, The Bumblios - znany także z występów we Francji) - pierwotnie w składzie :

 

- Roger Giffin  -  guitar  (w zespole do grudnia 1970r., wcześniej w grupie The Bumblios)

- John Clark  (1945 - 2018)  -  guitar  (w zespole do pażdziernika 1968, wcześniej w Morgan's Camel Train)

- Graham Barnes  -  bass  (w zespole do maja 1969, wcześniej - The Klimaks, The Academy)

- Terry Threadingham  -  drums  (w zespole od początku do końca, wcześniej - The Jays, Tangerine Slyde)

- Colin Carter  -  lead vocals  (w zespole od listopada 1967 - do końca, wcześniej - The Inspiration),

 

oraz :

 

- Barry Paul  (1948 - 2019)  -  guitar  (zastąpił Johna Clarka, w zespole od pażdziernika 1968 do kwietnia 1969, a następnie ponownie dołączył w czerwcu 1970r., wcześniej w grupie Paper)

 

- Mick McGuigan  -  bass  (w zespole od maja 1969  [zastąpił Grahama Barnesa]  do połowy 1970r., wcześniej w The Coastliners, St.Louis Checks)

 

- Mick Feat  -  bass  (w zespole od czerwca lub lipca 1970  [zastapił Micka McGuigana], wcześniej w grupach Dawn i Wanted

 

- Nigel Slydel  -  keyboards  (dołączył do Mushroom w grudniu 1970 lub w styczniu 1971, wcześniej w grupach Virgin Circle i Egypt.

Menedżerem zespołu był Mike Berry, a następnie John Abbott. Grupa istniała prawie 4 lata  (od pażdziernika 1967 do grudnia 1970 lub stycznia 1971 jako Coconut Mushroom, a następnie do końca  [maj 1971] jako Mushroom) i  w tym czasie wystąpiła na wielu koncertach w Hampshire i nie tylko.

Latem 1969 grała w Szwajcarii, a w kwietniu 1970r. wystąpiła (Lyceum London) w finale konkursu zorganizowanego przez Melody Maker.

Niestety, oficjalnie nie posiada żadnego własnego wydawnictwa  (szereg nagrań zespołu znalazło sie na wydanych w różnym okresie czasie wydawnictwach kompilacyjnych). Zarejestrowała sporą ilość nagrań, a nawet podpisała kontrakt płytowy z Decca Records  (niestety wytwórnia nie zdecydowała się na wydanie tych nagrań). Były to własne kompozycje  (w dużej części autorstwa Colina Cartera), a także covery  (The Who, The Beatles, nagrany cover "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" - został wydany pod nazwą zespołu - The Good Ship Lollipop, a cover The Who - " Call Me Lightning " pod nazwą The Good Vibrations - o czym członkowie zespołu Coconut Mushroom wówczas nie wiedzieli).

The Virgin Sleep  -  grupa z zachodniego Londynu  (Feltham)  powstała w 1967r., wcześniej znana jako Themselves  (1965, TONY REES, KEITH PURNELL, John Bobbins, Renwick MacDonald, Brian Barney) - w składzie :

The Brother L Congregation  (a.k.a. - BLC,  Brother Love Congregation)  -  grupa z Houston  (Texas, US), działająca od 1967r. do pierwszego kwartału 1971r. - w składzie :

 

- Rickey Vaughan  (1954 - 2022)  -  lead guitar, vocals  (lead vocals - "She's Gonna Lose That Boy")

- Baren (Singleton) Hyphenfinkle  -  lead vocals, rhythm guitar

- Randy Vaughan  -  bass

Grupa miała zasięg lokalny, występowała głównie w Buddy's Roller Rink  (na North Side w Houston), The North Houston Theater, The Conroe Ballroom. Brała udział w konkursie - "The Battle Of The Bands" (1968 w legendarnym klubie Catacombs). Brała tez udział  (1969r.)  w przesłuchaniu do koncertu z okazji otwarcia nowej siedziby Catacombs. Konkurencja była jednak zbyt mocna - The Moving Sidewalks i przede wszystkim

opromieniona  (po Woodstock)  brytyjska grupa Ten Years After.

Oficjalnie The Brother L Congregation  wydali  (1970r.)  dwa single  (nagrane w 1969 i 1970r. - pierwszy w Ray Doggett Recording Studio - Houston, drugi w Nashville Sounds Recording Studio - Houston) :

The Rubber Memory  -  grupa z Nowego Orleanu  (Louisiana, US),  założona w pażdzierniku 1967r. przez piątkę nastolatków :

W okresie działalności  (1967 - circa 1971)  The Rubber Memory zanotowali kilkadziesiąt występów  (szkoły, kluby taneczne, sale taneczne). W maju 1968r. wygrali regionalny konkurs - "The Battle Of The Bands"  (St.Matthew CYO, River Ridge, LA).

Podsumowaniem działalności zespołu był album - " Welcome ", nagrany latem 1970r. (private press, nagrany w posiadłości Państwa Haas).
