The Night Sounds  (Arizona - US, Garage Rock)  -  mało znane zespoły

Grupa z Tucson  (Arizona, US)  założona około 1965r.  (1964 lub 1965) - w składzie :

- Garry Rust  -  lead guitar, vocals

- Rob Muster  -  organ Hammond, vocals

- Bob Sheigert  -  drums, vocals

- Dave Mullens

- Ramon Carasco.

W 1966r. nastąpiły zmiany personalne, dołączył basista Christopher Dean, a zespół działał dalej

jako kwartet :

- Garry Rust - lead guitar, vocals

- Rob Muster - organ Hammond, vocals

- Christopher Dean - bass, vocals

- Bob Sheigert - drums, vocals.

The Night Sounds występowali głównie w klubach nocnych w Arizonie i w Nowym Meksyku.

Wystąpili, m.in. jako support The Doors i The Young Rascals.

W 1967r. nagrali  (studio w Phoenix)  dwa single  (private press) :

- "The Story Of A Tear"  (Rust - Muster)

- "I Didn't Mean To"  (Rust - Muster)

(1967, The Sound Of Soul, MR1 - 001 / 002)

- "Torment"  (Rust - Muster - Sheigert - Dean)

- "Somethin' Fishy"  (Rust - Muster)

(1967, The Sound Of Soul, MR2 - 003 / 004)

Grupa zakończyła działalność na początku 1968r.

Christopher Dean :

"...I joined the Night Sounds in July 1966, as then needed a new bass player. I worked with them until early 1968, when Garry Rust (lead guitar/vocalist) decided to leave the rock and R&B genre and start doing country. Both albums were recorded in a studio in Phoenix, AZ. I don't remember the name.

Members were:

Rob Muster: Hammond B3

Bob Scheigert: Drums

Garry Rust: Lead Guitar

Me: Bass

We all did background vocals.  ... "
