Head Over Heels  (Netherlands, Psych - Prog Rock)  -  mało znane zespoły

Head Over Heels to praktycznie grupa The Frogs Ltd z Castricum  (Netherlands), która powstała

w 1964r. - w składzie : Niko de Graaf  (były muzyk grupy De Paloma's), Jean Hanck  (także z De

Paloma's), Dave Van Der Schaaf, Kosmos Dekker i Fiep Holleman.

Około 1968r. Hein Brandjes zastąpił Kosmos Dekker'a.

Jako The Frogs Ltd muzycy nagrali i wydali  (1967 i 1968)  dwa single :

- "The Man On The Cloud"

- "Playgirl"

(1967, Polydor, S - 1239)

- "Judgement"

- "The Better Day"

(1968, Imperial, IH 817)

Późniejsze "nieporozumienia" z wytwórnią doprowadziły do zmiany nazwy na Head Over Heels.

Najtrafniej ujął to Niko de Graaf, podając mi kilka istotnych informacji o zespole  (big thanks to Niko de Graaf)

"... Hello Paul, Head Over Heels was the same group as The Frogs LTD. we had a contract with Bovema/EMI but they have been cheating us. So we made our new single in 1970 with Negram under a different name: Head over Heels..."

"...The bandmembers were: Dave van der Schaaf - piano keyboards/flute/backing vocals, Jean Hanck - solo-guitar/backing vocals, Hein Brandjes - rithme guitar, Jaap Neele - Bass-guitar/flute/backing vocals, Fiep Holleman - drums and Niko de Graaf lead-vocals.  We played all over the Netherlands including places like Paradiso Amsterdam. The single innocence/losing was recorded in the Negram studio in Haarlem and produced by Joop Oonk, bassplayer from the Jumping Jewels and ex from Willeke Alberti. It was released in 1970. There have been no other recordings under the band-name Head over Heels. As soon as the Bovema-contract ended the band returned to the Frogs LTD again. This band still exist  Jean, Dave and Jaap together with a new drummer Cor Boot still perfrom reguarly. I so now and then join them, but not Always..."

W 1970 roku, już pod nową nazwą  (Head Over Heels)  -  wydali singiel  (jedyne wydawnictwo

tego zespołu) :

- "Innocense"

- "Losing"
