Grupa z Madison  (Wisconsin, US), krótkoterminowa nazwa  (Kiriae Crucible) zespołu The Crucibles  (jeden singiel : "You Know I Do"  /  "Beware Of Birds"  -  1966, Madtown Records, MT-401)  -  w składzie :

- Ed Erickson  -  lead guitar  (Edward Erickson III, ur. w 1947r. w Dodgeville, WI, później grał

   m.in. w Chunky Pie)

- John Edland  -  vocals  (Jon Werner Edland z Madison, ur. 22.09. 1950r.)

Jon Edland - "... I was the lead vocalist for the Crucible, which for only a short time was called Kiriae Crucible. We performed together from 1967 to approximately 1970. Our band was organized by Ed Erickson, who was the founder of the original Crucibles. Our band, The Crucible, recorded “The Salem Witch Trial”, and the flip side, “Complain”, as a 45rpm. I was the lead singer of the band. Ed Erickson wrote the music scores, and I wrote the lyrics. There was a record recorded by the first members of The Crucibles in 1966. I did not join the newly reformed group until 1967.
