The Young Dreamers (póżniej Spectrum) - grupa z Luling (Louisiana, US) założona w 1969r. przez troje nastolatków i jednego dzieciaka (Robbie Matherne - 9 lat) - pierwotnie w składzie :

- Robbie Matherne - lead guitar, vocals

- Shane Matherne - drums, lead vocals (starszy brat Robbiego)

- Susan Pollet - guitar

- Barbara Rodriguez - guitar .

Zadebiutowali w konkursie młodych talentów (Central Lafourche High School, 10 Maj 1969).

Na przestrzeni lat grupa ewaluowała pod względem muzycznym i personalnym.

W 1970 lub 1971r. pojawiła się kolejna wersja (konfiguracja personalna) zespołu :

kompozytor, aranżer, właściciel sklepu z gitarami - Soundstage Music w Boutte, Louisiana), autor nagrań

siglowych The Young Dreamers / Spectrum.
