The Sun Lightning Incorporated

Grupa znana wcześniej jako The Sangralads (pod tą nazwą jeden singiel z 1968r.). Siłą napędową zespołu był ich menedżer - Jack Laymon.

Grali wiele koncertów, nawet w odległym (700 mil) Kansas.

Występowali w lokalnym klubie - " Indiana Beach " u boku The Lemon Pipers. Wygrali lokalny konkurs - " The Battle Of The Bands ". Latem (lipiec-sierpień) 1968r. pojechali do Chicago, gdzie w RCA Custom Studios nagrali kilka utworów (singiel The Sangralads). Grupa miała kilka różnych składów i nazw.

Latem 1969 ponownie udali się do Chicago aby nagrać album (P. Armstrong, M. Sisson, R. Lillard, B.Thompson). Nagrano całą masę utworów. Odbyli kilka sesji nagraniowych do albumu, ale ukończono tylko połowę płyty. Dwa nagrania wydano na singlu :
