Rabbit Food  (Netherlands, Prog / Blues Rock)  -  nieznane zespoły

Rabbit Food  -  to jeden z ciekawszych holenderskich zespołów na moim blogu.

Ta wieloosobowa grupa powstała na przełomie 1969 / 1970r. w Den Haag lub Rotterdam

na  "zgliszczach" formacji Soul Sound z Rotterdam  (1968 - 1969, dwa single z 1969r.).

Co najmniej trzech członków ośmioosobowego Soul Sound grało później w Rabbit Food :

- Paul van der Voort Maarschalk  -  saxophone  (występował w wielu lokalnych zespołach z

   Den Haag, Rotterdam, m.in. w latach 1960-1969 : Black Albino's, The Travellers, The Rebbels,

   The Specials, The Crazy Five, Soul Sound)

- Arnold van Deurzen  -  trompet

- Rob (Robby) Renada  -  bass.

Niestety, nie udało mi się uzyskać bliższych informacji o tym zespole.

Próby nawiązania kontakty z wymienionymi muzykami nie powiodły się.

Grupa Rabbit Food nagrała jeden singiel :

- "Spirit Of Freedom",

Robby Ranada :

"...Rabbit food was a 6piece band with 4 horns somewhat like the Tower of Power,we did record a second single named looking for tommorrow, however this was not released due to problems with the recording company,the band was formed from a very large soul band named the soul sound which also included bobby farrel from Boney M after Rabbit food i moved to another city and learned playing piano then jojned a band as keyboardplayer and toured as support of the Tower of Power,are you the former guitar player from the free ... "

"...Leadguitar,bassguitar,myself I was also the leadsinger,then we had a large horn section,baritonesaxophone,tenorsaxophone,trumpet and trombone and of course a drummer ..."
